Prior to getting the Zody chair, I was sitting in the world's worst office chair. In fact, I'm pretty sure it was a dining room table chair.
Over the years, I have developed upper back and neck issues partially due to poor alignment and posture along with being a new mom. Double whammy.
Thankfully, I am now sitting in a chair that is the polar opposite of what I used to sit in. Zody for the win!
I love many things about this chair, but I think what I obsess over most, is the lower lumbar support that I so lacked in my previous chair. The Zody literally lifts me from my lower spine and encourages me to sit up tall with my core engaged. It is a total game-changer.
The armrests aid in the sophistication of this chair as well. Another detail my former chair lacked - armrests. What a difference they make! They specifically keep my upper body more engaged when on Zoom calls and while podcasting.
The swivel and wheels are a lovely addition. I can easily turn and reach for things which also supports my overall physical well-being. It's the little things.
Aesthetically, I worship this chair. It's a looker and works beautifully with my Haworth Upside Sit-to-Stand Desk. It finally looks like I have a grown-up office and not a college dorm one anymore. I'm 41 btw, lol.
I highly recommend the Zody chair. It's an all-around supportive and stunning piece of office furniture.
I can't rave about this chair enough. It's comfortable and stylish, and my favorite part of working from home!
I have always sacrificed comfort for a more simple / less "office-y" look for our photo studio space, but my team uses a shared desk where some of us are at for hours a day.
When this chair came into our lives (and studio) it really made a difference and fulfilled the non-office look with a stylish chair that works with our aesthetic AND was way more comfortable than I thought a chair could be!
As someone who spent over two decades never spending more than $50 on an office chair, my skepticism about high-end chairs was quite firm. The notion that a chair could significantly impact one's life seemed exaggerated. However, with the onset of stiffer joints and escalating sciatic nerve pain, my perspective began to shift. The realization that a substantial part of my day was spent sitting, especially since transitioning to a work-from-home setup, led me to reconsider my stance on investing in a quality chair.
Enter the Zody, a decision that I initially approached with a mix of hope and caution. Having used this chair for a couple of weeks now, I can confidently say that my skepticism has been replaced by genuine appreciation. The difference it has made in my daily routine is palpable.
The most immediate change was the comfort it offered. The pain that had become a constant companion started to subside, a relief that I attribute directly to the chair's ergonomic design. However, it's not just about the comfort. The chair's build quality is exceptional, exuding a sense of durability and sturdiness that my previous chairs lacked.
One of the standout features is the adjustability. The Zody chair allows for fine-tuning to fit one's body type, a feature that has proven invaluable for me. The range of adjustments ensures that the chair conforms to your body, rather than forcing your body to adapt to the chair.
Another aspect worth mentioning is the smoothness of its movement. Gone are the days of awkwardly maneuvering to roll in a straight line. This chair glides effortlessly, akin to skating on ice, enhancing the overall experience of using it.
The Zody has converted me into a believer. It's a testament to the idea that investing in essential items - be it quality food, a good bed, or now, a quality chair - is not an extravagance but a necessity for well-being. The cost, when broken down in the context of daily use and benefits, is not just reasonable but seems like a wise investment. This chair is not just a piece of office furniture; it's a tool for enhancing daily life and well-being.
Having worked from home since 2017, I've been on a constant rotation of office chairs....this is my 6th and last chair. I only wish I'd decided to make the investment sooner. It's so beyond comfortable. The support for my lower back is crazy good. And, it's so easy to adjust to get it in exactly the position that suits the task at hand. It's both supportive and comfortable. Not only that, I was worried I'd have to sacrifice style for something that was functional, but I'm so pleased with how beautifully designed this chair is. It fits right in with my decor and actually even levels up the sophistication of my home office. Can't say enough good things!
