Designed by Mario Bellini in collaboration with his son Claudio, the Bellini stools build on the success of the award-winning Bellini chair. Their sculptural form combines sweeping angles and gentle curves, creating a design that feels both visually striking and comfortable.


Molded from a single piece of injection-molded plastic, the stools are durable, generously proportioned, and suited for a wide range of environments—from outdoor cafés and residential spaces to modern workplaces. Their clean silhouette and vibrant color palette make them as versatile as they are expressive.


Designed for both indoor and outdoor use, the stools are stackable up to three high for easy storage. The result is a refined, low-maintenance seating solution that balances form, function, and modern design.

Care

Cleaning
For everyday cleaning, wipe with a soft, damp cloth and a non-abrasive, bleach-free cleaner. For tougher marks, use a mild detergent (such as dish soap diluted in warm water) and a soft brush. Dry with a soft cloth or chamois.

UV Exposure
Made from UV-stabilized low-density polyethylene (LDPE), this product is designed for outdoor use. Like all polyethylene, prolonged exposure to extreme conditions may cause wear over time. In extreme temperatures (below 15°F or above 100°F), we recommend covering when not in use to help preserve the finish.

Polishing & Scratches
To maintain the original finish, use a plastic polish such as NOVUS® Plastic Clean & Polish. For high-traffic use, polish monthly; for normal use, every 2–3 months. This can help minimize the appearance of minor scratches and wear.

Meet the Designer

Mario Bellini

Since the 1960s, the versatile Mario Bellini has been celebrated for his distinctive designs in architecture, master planning, interiors, furnishings, and industrial design. Born in Milan in 1935, Bellini graduated in architecture from the Milan Polytechnic in 1959. After working as design director of La Rinascente, he was hired in 1963 by Olivetti to re-design its office machines. Olivetti helped him satisfy what he has called his “insatiable curiosity,” by allowing him free rein and excitement of working with engineers, modelers, and painters. He could explore industrial production in terms of his grounding in classical architecture. Architectural logic was expressed in an organic form language.

Claudio Bellini

Claudio Bellini is an Italian architect and designer based in Milan. A graduate of the Politecnico di Milano, he founded his studio in 1996 and established the Claudio Bellini Design Group in 2024 as an international creative hub. His multi- disciplinary work spans furniture, product and interior design for global brands including Steelcase, Vitra, Poltrona Frau, Natuzzi and RH. His work has received numerous international design awards and recognition.
